Baby quilt girl version on a rainy Sunday

Went to the dump.  That was exciting.  Went for a walk in the field with the dog.  Found 2 pop bottles, a golf ball and a dead duck.  Back to the house for husband.  Husband got a shovel.  He said he would give the duck a burial at sea.  Part of the field is flooded from all the rain.  Then I got to the sewing machine.

Baby girl quilt is in process.  I decided on a disappearing 9 patch.  Nice easy block that looks complicated but is really just so very easy to put together.  Way back last summer when I found this tutorial on the Moda Bakeshop and that is what I did with this quilt.   I am using the "girl" colours from the Love U charm packs and a bunch of stuff from the stash, including some of Momo's It's a Hoot.  Love it, love it, love it!

Here it is on the "design bed."  One day when I grow up, I will have a design wall.

  1. Design bed...design floor...who needs a wall?
That is a very nice result. I wonder why it is a nine-patch when it has more than nine pieces?
