Design Wall on a Sunday

I started something.  I actually have a lot more blocks done since I took this picture.  I am using a combination of scraps and bits as well as some things from the stash.  I noticed these blocks on Rachel's bog just this past week. She is calling it Gemstones.  It works!  So what do you need?  A whole bunch of 5" squares made into a whole pile of half square triangles.   The setting triangles on the mostly white blocks are from 6.5" squares cut in half on the diagonal.  It is coming together quickly and that is always fun.  The blocks finish at about 12".

I even managed to find a flower in the garden that fits this colour palette.  Pretty, yes?  Happy summer!

Linking up with Judy's Design Wall Monday!

  1. Purple and lime I just love it. My mom have some milk glass shakers just like what you found in the last post.
