Random Thursday... shoes for quilters

Can you read that?  Yep.  Shoes with Liberty Art Fabrics.  Be still my beating heart.  And on sale.  Super cheap.  I have been looking at these for months.  Finally at a greatly reduced price, they came home with me.     Obviously there are not that many people who understand nature of this find!  Shoes for quilters.  Happiness!
I cannot wait to wear them to my guild meeting next week.

And I am moving schools.  One of my staff and her students decorated my office door the last week of school.  They made me a door quilt.  So sweet!

Linking up with Cindy and Random Thursday!  Happy July 4 for those of you south of the border!

  6. Oh wow, I love these! Since I started quilting I now notice Liberty or Liberty-like prints all over the place. I saw a woman recently in a restaurant with a shirt made from what I'm pretty sure was vintage Liberty fabric. I resisted interrupting her meal to ask her about it, though I would have loved to know the story behind it....

  7. Lovely shoes - I'd been admiring the coats and shoes at The Bay, but not admiring them with my wallet because wow were they expensive. Glad you got them on a great deal, though! Someone quilty deserves to wear them :D

  11. Wow, those shoes are gorgeous! And such a sweet farewell...you are obviously a wonderful principal. My best Liberty find (well, actually my mom found it) was a Tilly Endurables skirt and shirt outfit made from Liberty fabric at the thrift store. The skirt has tons of fabric so perfect for cutting up!
