Oh my goodness! I made enough of these to say I have a quilt. The blocks are all trimmed and ready to be sewn together. Woo hoo! I used this tutorial for these cross string blocks after being inspired by this quilt during the Spring Blogger's Quilt Festival. I trimmed the blocks to 7" and I have made 65 of them. I miscounted and made an extra block. I think with borders, it will be just fine. Not huge but nice. I used mostly scraps for this one. I had a lot of green and more than enough of the aqua/blue scraps to make this work. I think I could do several in fact. I was asked at a quilt shop if I was a green person. Hmmmm. Maybe!

Wow, those blocks are really lovely! It's going to be a great quilt and maybe that extra block is just what the backing will need.
