You would be proud- or, more specifically, I think Guy would be proud. I made my first pie! It was a pumpkin pie, and I used the extra pastry and filling to make mini pumpkin tarts. I prayed and prayed they would be flaky, and then on the way to my Grammer's house for dinner, bit of crust were flaking off. I didn't think about the possibility of too flaky! But they tasted pretty good. Glad you had a safe trip, welcome home and Happy Thanksgiving!
