Can you read that? Yep. Shoes with Liberty Art Fabrics. Be still my beating heart. And on sale. Super cheap. I have been looking at these for months. Finally at a greatly reduced price, they came home with me. Obviously there are not that many people who understand nature of this find! Shoes for quilters. Happiness!
I cannot wait to wear them to my guild meeting next week.
And I am moving schools. One of my staff and her students decorated my office door the last week of school. They made me a door quilt. So sweet!

ReplyDeleteChute cute shoes , perfect for a quilter . Great door , a lovely send off for you .
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I love these! Since I started quilting I now notice Liberty or Liberty-like prints all over the place. I saw a woman recently in a restaurant with a shirt made from what I'm pretty sure was vintage Liberty fabric. I resisted interrupting her meal to ask her about it, though I would have loved to know the story behind it....
ReplyDeleteLovely shoes - I'd been admiring the coats and shoes at The Bay, but not admiring them with my wallet because wow were they expensive. Glad you got them on a great deal, though! Someone quilty deserves to wear them :D
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shoes...Good luck to you on your new school. I am sure you will enjoy a new change of scenery... Just think a whole new adventure in life. how exciteing.

ReplyDeleteThat is such a beautiful farewell gift from your school. Good luck at your new one. Will you still be a principal?
ReplyDeleteWow, those shoes are gorgeous! And such a sweet farewell...you are obviously a wonderful principal. My best Liberty find (well, actually my mom found it) was a Tilly Endurables skirt and shirt outfit made from Liberty fabric at the thrift store. The skirt has tons of fabric so perfect for cutting up!
ReplyDeleteSo jealous of your shoes, swooon! They don't make them big enough for my big boats so I'll have to envy yours....! :D And awwww what a cool door quilt!
ReplyDeleteEek--those shoes are super cute! And what a fabulous door quilt!
ReplyDeleteShoes for quilters? Hahaha - awesome.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck at your new school this fall! :-)
