Husband made me these for mother's day. I have to admit that I was a bit of a nag about it. But a nice nag. I had some reject yard and metre sticks hanging about and I showed him a picture and before you knew it, these lovelies showed up on my sewing table. Seriously awesome.
Then I became somewhat obsessed with Yuwa macaron fabric. And then some other fabrics just happened end up in my shopping cart. Yum. Happy weekend!
yum
ReplyDeletegreat yardstick boxes. what are you putting in them?
ReplyDeleteI have an antique yardstick. Not sure I could cut it up, but I think yours are pretty cute!
ReplyDeleteThose boxes are great. You have a clever hubby! I have seen little side tables covered in yardsticks too, which I thought looked neat.
ReplyDeletethe boxes are soooo cool! Guy could totally sell a bazillion of those, hint hint! and hehe I love that fabric!!
ReplyDeleteLove the boxes!! The fabric is really cute!
ReplyDeleteThose boxes are cool! I showed them to the S.O. and he said "what's the point?" and I tried to explain how they looked cool and were good for organizing. *Maybe* I can find some yard sticks in thrift stores and try and coax him to make some. (Or I could borrow my brother's saw (it's easier to use) and try it myself).
ReplyDeleteThose yardstick boxes are amazing!!
ReplyDeleteyes, I agree with Cynthia, Guy COULD sell a bazillion of those yardstick boxes....
ReplyDeleteVery cute boxes!
ReplyDeleteI have a pile of yard sticks and the pictures to go with it and they are still sitting waiting for my husband to make them, so what's the secret nag that works? LOL!
ReplyDeleteI love those yardstick boxes! So unique.
