How does your garden grow?

Our veggie garden is quite nuts this year.  Husband definitely has a green thumb.  We have been eating and eating stuff for weeks now.  The broccoli is ready and we have been eating broccoli in all different forms.  All sorts of stuff will be ready soon and it is just so much fun to go shopping in your yard.

  1. Still adjust to Zone 4 from Zone 7. Things have only been planted in the past month, so still have ages before anything other than lettuce can be eaten.

  5. My daughter started planting seeds in small pots and egg cartons (I don't like that way anymore) willy nilly and then transplanted some of it in her "garden". She really hasn't paid attention to it much since then. I have gone out and watered when it was hot. (Otherwise, nature takes care of the watering, since it rains here a LOT.) I have no clue what she has going on out there, she has no idea what is going on either! It's growing, but I have no clue what "it" is!!! This is my first year with property to speak of and I haven't made a plan. How did the settlers do it???
