Monkeying around...
I have a bunch of little blocks up on the design wall. Yellow and green with monkeys. That was the request for a baby quilt gift for a friend of son's lovely girl friend. I have lots of yellow and green but I picked up some monkeys for the back and the great dots for the binding. The monkeys are a brushed cotton. So soft!
I still have lots of time to change the arrangement of the blocks as I make them. I am using the really simple 4.5" squares in combination with 2.5" squares. And we don't know if the wee baby to be is a boy or a girl so the fabric needs to be fairly gender neutral. Baby quilts go together so fast!!!!!!! I love it!
And the monkeys are from Deb Strain's line for Moda, Grow With Me and the dots are from Windham and were on sale!!!! Half price! Score!! Have a super lovely evening!
