Okay. Never mind quilting. Would you take a look at what Husband has been making me? A wall of shelves for my fabric! Squeal! I cannot wait to fill it full! He has made the shelves to perfectly accommodate the way I fold fabric. So incredibly exciting. I will still have shelves near my sewing machine but this will store the bulk of the stash! Opposite the open shelves are closed storage cupboards. It will be like my own fabric store. Painting and finishing still to come. Try not focus too much on the 70s flooring. We figure if we just wait long enough it will be back in style and will be the "new retro!" We can only hope!
Our pet yard squirrel. We call her Douglas. I think it is appropriate to picture a squirrel after showing off the shelves that will soon have all my fabric "squirrelled' away!
Daughter and her special someone arrived safe and sound. Happiness. Have a lovely Thursday!
Wow! Now pictures of it filled with fabric?? Wonderful shelves....do you rent him out?

ReplyDeleteI love shelves like that! All compartmenty :) You could even put little bins in some of them if you wanted to store notions... oh the possibilities! You know those fabric bins at Ikea? You could sew up some custom size ones. I picture one full of zippers for some reason! lol.
