Blueberry Vintage Sheet Quilt
I finished another quilt. This is made strictly with vintage sheets in blues. The 8.5" blocks have random star blocks throughout the quilt and you can see my evening shadow in this picture. How gauche! This soft and cuddly quilt measures about 64" by 72" and is backed and bound in vintage sheets as well. I free motion quilted this in loopy loops in white.
And hanging in the apple tree last evening. I was quick to take the pictures last evening because rain was forecast for today. It is our happy luck that the rain did not materialize. I dragged Husband all over this morning, visiting quilt shops and thrift stores. He was thrilled as I am sure you can imagine!
And more happy news... Daughter passed her last hurdle and received notice in today's mail that she has passed her Registered Nurse's exam and is officially certified to practice in Canada. Woohoo!!!!!
I will be linking up with Fabric Tuesday over at Quilt Story! Check out all the other fabric finishes!

ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! I alwas admire the vintage sheet quilts, but I'm not sure how to get hold of so much fabric to do it with. This makes me want to try!
