Block #5 Bat Wing
Block #4 Basket Weave (and sorry this block was not lying flat when I took the picture!)
Here is what I have found out. When I printed the templates that I found when I looked at the quilt along tips thread, I had to set the printer so that there was no scaling to fit the page. Once I printed the templates in this format and this size, the blocks came out a perfect 6.5" square. This makes me very happy. I have been playing around with these blocks and started assembling the hexie pillow top that I have on my to do list. Not a hugely productive quilting day because I am feeling quite yucky with a miserable summer cold!! Blah! Who needs a cold when we finally get some nice weather!

ReplyDeleteI have ordered the book and hopefully will have time to work on these blocks! From the many pictures I see posted, the blocks look relatively simple. I, too, love your fabric choices - so fresh looking.
