One of our quilt guild members has a fire fighter for a husband. We were easily convinced last year to make buckets of pillowcases, 130 of them, for the children who go to burn camp each summer. We made so many that they were able to donate them to the Burn Fund Centre which is a temporary residence for young burn victims. So here we are making them again for Burn Camp and because they never seem to have enough boy pillowcases, I made two shockingly bright dinosaur pillowcases. Done like dinner. But I might still have to make a girly one too.
