What's in the bag?
I whipped up a little drawstring bag for daughter on Sunday afternoon. It measures a strange 6" x 15" and is fully lined. I used some thrift store heavy cotton twill for the outside. Love those purple flowers and a very soft, solid purple vintage sheet for the lining.
Any guesses what it might be for? The bag is to keep one of her Christmas presents safe when she tosses it in her bag on her way to work and back.
The bag is for her snazzy new, super-dooper, plum-coloured, zowie-wowie stethoscope. The things we do for our children!
Anyway, after making so many BIG quilt projects, it was fun to whip up a little bag. I think I might make her a few of them. Just for fun.
Have a super Tuesday!

oh my a plum coloured stethoscope - how cool - that bag is pretty cute too
ReplyDeleteVery unusual - must be a first! I'm sure you'll get a few orders when her colleagues see that! Lovely fabric.
