This is it! A scrappy wonky star quilt is born. I am totally over the moon for this quilt! I love it! Made from scraps, and measuring about 70" by 70", it is my first finish for the year. I have also written up
a tutorial for it as well. Check it out!
I quilted it in white, using my built in walking foot, on either side of the seams lines. The squares are four inch blocks so it was a whole lot of straight line quilting. I think it looks great!
And the back has a row of leftover squares to reference the front of the quilt, along with some green and yellow prints from the stash.
I used a blue on blue stripe for the binding. It is something like "Basically for Kids" from Moda that came in the load of fabrics from the estate sale. I think it works really well.
