This is it! A scrappy wonky star quilt is born. I am totally over the moon for this quilt! I love it! Made from scraps, and measuring about 70" by 70", it is my first finish for the year. I have also written up a tutorial for it as well. Check it out!
I quilted it in white, using my built in walking foot, on either side of the seams lines. The squares are four inch blocks so it was a whole lot of straight line quilting. I think it looks great!
And the back has a row of leftover squares to reference the front of the quilt, along with some green and yellow prints from the stash.
I will link up with Sew Modern Monday and with Fabric Story Tuesday and this quilt is part of the scrap attack over at Stitched in Color. My scrap basket is pictured in her mosaic but I have less scraps now because of this quilt!!!!!
gorgeous!!

ReplyDeleteHi Cathy! I'm a new follower, visiting from Fabric Tuesday. Love your wonky stars quilt! And I'm a little jealous of your blueberry farm! It's on our list to get a blueberry patch going on our few acres but our first feeble attempt was unsuccessful. (Next time, we'll buy better plants and do more research!)
