On the design wall... bee blocks

I raided my stash for aqua and orange this morning to whip up March Bee blocks for Whitney.  This is for the That Stash bee and the block is "simply woven" from the Moda Bakeshop.  I hope that these work!  This was a fun block to make but I have to admit that I messed up on the first one.  Darn!  You just have to pay close attention to the slicing and dicing!

The rain went away today and we actually had sunshine!  Unbelievable!

And look what I found outside!  Spring is coming!  Proof of sunshine!  Linking up with Judy's Design Wall Monday!

  1. Your blocks are lovely!

And yes, wasn't it amazing to see the sun today? We were out on the soccer field today for the last day of the season and it was perfect!

  3. These look great! It is a fairly easy block, but so many chances to screw it up. I was a little paranoid every time I cut!

I love Moda's Bakeshop, so many hidden patterns on there.

  6. I have 32 of the Simply Woven blocks done. I have to say I am not enjoying making them, but I am too far along to stop now. Hopefully you enjoy them more than I do :)
