Flea Market Finds... sewing basket goodness

I have to say that this sewing basket made my heart go pitter patter.  It is just so darn lovely.  It is in awesome shape.  Complete with a tray.  No problems with the interior lining and I cannot say that I have ever seen one like it.  It is just so basket-y.  It is my new favourite sewing basket.  Happiness.  I like that the handle is on the side so that it is almost brief case like in it's sewing basket-ness.  If you know what I mean.

I felt most virtuous at the thrift store because while I did find things to buy, I also gave them a giant box of stuff.

I also picked up some fabric.  It said take me home.  Roosters in blue on white.  Home decor weight.  About 4 metres of it.   I think Mum is going to sneak this away to her house. She had a plan when I described it to her.  Here it is, Mum.

And I picked up a giant bag of tea towels for 50 cents.  Apparently daughter has a complete shortage of said items.  They are for her.  At 50 cents for the giant bag, that is cheaper than paper towels.  So there.  But they are boring in a picture so I did not take one.

I had to share these climbing roses.  They are appreciating the cooler nights.  Have a lovely rest of your day!
